daniele olivieri
Founder & Head Instructor in Kitesurf and wingfoiling
Daniele is the heart and soul of KTS Tarifa. He is a born Waterman with more
than 30 year of experience in watersport. Starting with windsurfing back to the
late 1980s and later when he moved to Tarifa in 1996 he was immediately
hooked on surfing and ongoing with kitesurf, wingfoiling and paddle surf.
Daniele founded KTS Tarifa in 2002 to create a haven for fellow enthusiasts.
Kitesurf Instructor since 2000 as well as IKO / IWO examiner / FAV for
kitesurfing and wingfoiling. His deep knowledge of the local conditions and
unparalleled teaching skills have made him a revered figure in the Tarifa
watersport community. He is also your go-to expert for all your gear needs.
From rentals to repairs, his extensive knowledge of equipment ensures that
you have the best possible setup for your skill level and the conditions.
Daniele’s passion for the watersport is infectious, and he’s dedicated to helping
every student find their own love for the wind and waves.
Mariano Lorenzetti
Kitesurf instructor since 2000 (IKO Examiner Trainer)
Mariano is a certified kitesurf instructor and he is the IKO examiner in our
Training Academy with decades of experience. Several times a year he is
passionately educating and training Assistants and Kite-Instructors to-be
to prepare them in the best possible way for their instructor career. He is
pushing the best out of you and shares his supreme knowledge with all the tips
and tricks in teaching students, safety and the spirit of the sport for a
successful start to your working life. Besides he always has a joke on his lips to
make your course an unforgettable one.
Francesca Regine
Kitesurf Instructor since 2016 (IKO L2, FAV)
Francesca is a certified instructor and part of our team since 2019 with years
of experience in kitesurfing. Known for her patient and encouraging teaching
style, she has helped countless beginners get their start in the sport.
Francesca’s commitment to safety and fun ensures that every lesson is a
positive and empowering experience.
Mario Garcia
Kitesurf instructor since 2009 (IKO L3-Assistant Trainer /
FAV)
Mario is one of our longest and enthusiastic kitesurf instructors certified also as
an IKO L3 – Assistant Trainer and he joins our team since 2011. His
encouraging and calm nature helps students to feel at ease, making the
learning process both enjoyable and effective and progress quickly. He makes
learning fun and accessible for everyone. Mario is a great sportsman, loves
watersport and he is also very well experienced in wingfoil and kite foil.
Matteo Alessio
Kitesurf instructor since 2010 (IKO L2)
Part of our team since 2011 Matteo is one of our longest and enthusiastic
instructors and at KTS Tarifa. Matteo’s friendly demeanor and expertise in
water safety and technique ensures that students progress confidently and
safety. You will also find him from time to time in our shop and he supports
you with his expertise for all your gear needs. This makes him a make him a
favorite among students and costumers.
Stefano Gaspari
Kitesurf instructor since 2014 (IKO L2)
Since 2014 Stefano is part of our Team – as a ski instructor in the winter and a
kite instructor in the summer he is the technical specialist. He was one of the
first kite students at KTS Tarifa in 2004 and he started his kite surf journey
with us and he is also hooked on windsurfing. He is known for his ability to
quickly identify and address students’ individual challenges, making his lessons
highly effective and tailored to each person’s needs. His friendly demeanor and
passion and expertise for the sport make every session both enjoyable and
educational.
Jan Asnong
Kitesurf Instructor since 2022 (IKO L2)
Jan’s infectious enthusiasm and patient teaching style makes him a standout
instructor at KTS Tarifa since 2022. He was part of the instructor training in our
IKO academy at KTS Tarifa and continues his career as an instructor with us.
With this background in education and his deep love for kitesurfing, he excels
in breaking down complex techniques into easily understandable steps. Jan’s
supportive approach ensures that students of all levels feel confident and
motivated to progress.
